The President of the Republic of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic was awarded the Ilyas Afandiyev International Prize by the results of 2012. At the award ceremony, which was attended by the statesmen and politicians, the Chairman of the Red Cross, the representatives of the diplomatic missions, the leadership of the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation and its representative for Eastern Europe, the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic thanked the leadership of the Foundation for such a high appraisal of his activity. In his speech, Mr. Vujanovic noted that such appreciation of his activities as the head of the Republic of Montenegro shows that the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation is true to its mission, which reflects the UN Millennium Development Goals relating to the support for the values of democracy, freedom and human rights , cross-cultural, ethnic and religious tolerance. Thanks to these values, the world should develop and move forward. He also expressed his gratitude for the charitable activities of the Foundation and those who support the Foundation in this direction and stressed that the Foundation work is very valuable and he wants it to grow from year to year, and the Foundation would continue its charitable activity. As the result of the meeting, there was reached the agreement on further cooperation between the Foundation and some structures of Montenegro.
