Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation and Boeing start joint project in Ukraine

Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation, within the framework of cooperation with the American company Boeing, has launched the “Stop Drugs” project aimed at preventing drug use among minors. Starting from 2010, within the framework of cooperation of the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation with American Boeing Company, 4 social Project, including “Socio-psychological rehabilitation center for orphans and children deprived of parental care” and 3 consecutive years continuously “From streets to families”. Since the beginning of this year, the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation with the help of his network of representations, being true to his social and humanitarian principles, has started the implementation of new projects developed over several years. Thus, since the beginning of February, the implementation of the project “Stop drugs”, proposed for consideration by Boeing Mission of the Foundation in Ukraine, has begun. The main goal of the project is to prevent drug use among minors and negative phenomena in this area, through an institutional and conceptual approach to the problem, drawing public attention to the problem of drug use among minors. As the Head of the Foundation in Ukraine Emil Alibeili said: “Within the framework of the project, a number of schools of Ukraine plan to conduct trainings for beneficiaries-teachers of secondary schools for the purpose of raising awareness among minors aimed at preventing the use of narcotic drugs. The specialists of the National Medical University named after OO Bogomolets, psychologists for work with drug addicts, specialists from the Ministries of Health and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine are invited to the project.”The main objectives of the project are to provide secondary school teachers with knowledge and methods of countering drug use among minors and the creation of regional centers on the basis of secondary education institutions. “It should be noted that this project is the first social and humanitarian project in Ukraine with the support of the American company Boeing.
