Kamilla Aliyeva has a higher education in the economic sphere. She worked in the banking sector of Azerbaijan for many years, holding managerial and senior positions in the areas of customer service, internal control and accounting at various times. Over the years, she passed additional certification and training in the areas of management, sales, internal control and audit, customer service and etc. both in the country and beyond.

Since the end of 2018, she was invited to the position of the Executive Director of the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation and also was elected a Member of the Board by the Decision of the Board of the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation.
The main areas of her work as the Executive Director can be identified as following: financial and investment issues, fundraising issues and the expansion of the branch network of the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation.
She speaks Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Bulgarian.
