     Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation has been located in Bulgaria since April 2011. By the way, the Ilyas Afandiyev International Prize award ceremony was held in Sofia in 2009. The President of the Republic of  Bulgaria, Mr. Georgi Parvanov was awarded, what intended to promote cooperation between the state structures of Bulgaria and the Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation.
In accordance with its mission, Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation is aimed to assist public authorities and civil society structures of  Bulgaria in implementing the National Strategy in settlement the problems of refugees, solving the problems in education, health, social and other humanitarian fields of the country.
Nowadays, the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation, started from a small local nongovernmental organization, has become an authoritative international organization, which received wide international recognition.
