PROJECT “SUSTAINABLE HUMANITARIAN DEVELOPMENT: IMAGE OF THE XXI CENTURY OF A PARTNER COUNTRY”
In this large-scale project the Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation in accordance with its mission, aims to assist public authorities and civil society structures in settlement the problems in education, culture, public health, social and other humanitarian spheres of the country, thus promoting the creation of modern
humanitarian image of a Partner-Country.
MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THE PROJECT
~Practical Humanism – it should always serve the practical purposes;
~Social Humanism – should be placed in a social context, to find a place for it in real life;
~Daily Humanism – it should be implemented in the daily political, social and economic
practices;
~Scale Humanism – people have to feel its realization in serious changes in their lives.
PROJECT DIRECTIONS:
In our opinion, there are three main pillars – directions of the modern humanitarian
image of a Partner Country in the XXI century:

In accordance with the directions,the “Ilyas Afandiyev International Foundation” has developed long term programs on humanitarian development of Partner Countries, the implementations of those are scheduled for the period of 5 years.
EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT:
The overall rise and adequacy of social and humanitarian development among different regions of a Partner Country, which will greatly facilitate the progress of the country on the European integration path; The successful combination of the State Humanitarian Development Strategy of a Partner Country with the initiative of civil society and private business in this area; Opening of the entities with the participation of officials, including senior officials of a Partner Country, will become a visible evidence of the connection among the State authorities, social structures and the population;
Implementation of the Foundation target programs will also provide support to the Government of the country to provide employment (creation of new working places in construction, social welfare, public health, and other spheres); The annual international exhibition ” Sustainable humanitarian development of a Partner Country: The image of the XXI Century” held by the joint forces of the Foundation and the Government of the Partner Country would represent the best achievements of the country’s counties and municipalities in the implementation of humanitarian programs, projects of non-governmental organizations, as well as the proposals of international charity and investment funds, foreign universities, medical centers, environmental organizations, etc.
